An Event for Everyone
We are committed to making the Galloping Gobbler welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for athletes of all abilities. Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and competitive experience while maintaining the integrity of the event for every participant.
We encourage individuals with disabilities to participate and will make reasonable accommodations whenever possible. Participants requiring accommodations are encouraged to contact the Race Director at least 30 days prior to race day whenever possible.

This division is for athletes who wish to participate but are not competing for overall awards. It includes everyday wheelchair users, athletes using walkers or other mobility devices, athletes with neurological or developmental disabilities, and athletes requiring a personal guide or assistance.
Our goal is simple. Everyone deserves the opportunity to cross the finish line. We strive to create an event where every participant, regardless of ability, feels welcomed, respected, and celebrated.
Walkers are welcome, and the course is stroller friendly.
Race Schedule:
- 6:30 AM: Packet Pickup & Registration
- 8:00 AM: 10K Start (Leg one of the 15K Challenge)
- 8:40 AM: Drumstick Dash (1 of 2)
- 9:30 AM: 5K Start (Leg two of the 15K Challenge)
- 10:15 AM: Drumstick Dash (2 of 2)
Enjoy a fast course, snacks, cotton candy, and warm drinks after the race! The 5K and 10K are chip-timed and supporting several great youth charities—The Armed Forces YMCA, the International Order of Rainbow for girls, The International Order of Jobes Daughters.

Note: The Kids Dash is usually held twice to accommodate parents running the 5K or 10K.
Packet Pickup & Registration:
Opens at 6:30 AM on race day!
Friends and family can pick up packets for each other.
Important: Please bring non-perishable food items to be donated to Pulaski County Homeless.
